WAAT is invited to participate the event as one of the partnerships in research collaborations. The close collaboration between NSTDA and UW Madison has been a key component to accelerate the innovation in project such as Dairy Product development, Potato plantation, etc. the projects have carried on successfully and will continue to the end of the Fast Forward Plan.
NAC 2008 takes place between 24-26 March 2008 at Thailand Science Park, Pathumthani, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn came to inspect the exhibition on 24 March 2008. WAAT President has an honorary opportunity to welcome the princess.
NSTDA holds an exhibition every year to inform the public of its work and stimulate the exchange of scientific knowledge. In addition to the exhibits, there will be seminars, business meetings, and lab tours to encourage greater commercialization of the research.

WAAT has organized the Board Meeting at Polo Club. The highlight of the meeting is to introduce and welcome the new WAAT President “Mr.Piyabutr Cholvijarn” and congratulate the success of Mr.Pongsak Payakvichien, who led WAAT since 1999 and created the solidarity of the association. Wisconsin Alumni Association of Thailand is among the largest international groups of UW-Madison alumni, and continuously has the great support from Wisconsin Alumni Association and the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Wisconsin Alumni Association Thailand organizes the general meeting for the Thai Badgers at Army Club (Vibhavadi-rangsit road) on May 28, 2008. The event has been successfully organized and there are more than hundred alumni (’1960 – ’2004) join the event.

The group of Wisconsin Alumni from Madison comes to Thailand for Sightseeing before heading to Bhutan and Hong Kong.
WAAT arranged a special treat for the Wisconsin travelers. WAA from Madison gave us the presents and all mementos from UW. Then the group attended a performance of a Thai Puppet. And enjoy the Night Market at Suanlum before going back to hotel.
