WAAT delegates include Mr.Pongsak Phayakvichien, Mr.Piyabutr Cholvijarn, Prof.Vichai Reutrakul, and Dr.Benjamas Pisalayakit, visited UW Madison to tighten the relationship and looking for the expansion of the future collaborations. The visit takes place between March 1-6, 2009. WAAT delegates have the great opportunity to meet with the new Chancellor “Carolyn Birdy”, Gilles Bousquest (Dean of Division of International studies), Prof.Ken Shapiro (Associate Dean of Agricultral and Applied Econimics)

Executive MBA group from UW Madison visit Bangkok during March 5-7,2009, for their field trip in SouthEast Asia. There are 47 students and 4 faculty members, lead by Susan Miller, Managing Director Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER), Wisconsin School of Business.
The group of students consists of people from healthcare sector and manufacturing sector. WAAT has coordinated with the organization in Thailand for the group visit. The places include Ministry of Public Health, Stock Exchange of Thailand, Smitivej Hospital, Minibea Manufacture.

Golf Tournament 2009

Wisconsin Alumni Association Thailand organizes the Golf Tournament on Wednesday 4th February, 2009. The objective of WAAT Golf Tournament 2009 (fund raising program) is to support Wisconsin Alumni Thailand Foundation (WATF). And it is WAAT’s honor to receive the trophy designated from HRH Princese Maha Chakri Sirindhorn for this golf tournament.
WAAT Golf Tournament takes place at WindsorPark Golf Course (Panya Park), Suwintawong, at 12:00 p.m. (SHOT GUN START). There are 40 teams involve in this tournament and the result is as followed:-

Lunch Meeting With Prof. Dounglas Maxwell

WAAT hosted lunch for Prof. Douglas Maxwell, one of distinguished emeritus faculty members. Prof.Maxwell  was Chairman of  Plant Pathology Department and also Executive Associate Dean of Agricultural and Life Science College.
